Print a picture to a file

Before printing to a file, you must first select the printer that will actually print the file. The printer that you select can be connected to any kind of computer, even if Microsoft PhotoDraw is not installed.

  1. On the File menu, click Print, and then click the General tab.

  2. In the Name box, select the printer you want.

  3. Select the Print to file check box.

  4. Click OK.

  5. In the Print To File dialog box, double-click the folder you want in the Save in box.

  6. In the File name box, type a name for the print file.

  7. Click Save.

Note   Because print (.prn) files are used only for printing, you cannot open, view, or change the contents of a PRN file in PhotoDraw.
